Integration Expert – ERP, HRIS, and Logistics Systems

Job Summary

We are looking for a driven and highly independent Integration Expert to lead our growing ecosystem of integrations. You’ll be responsible for researching, designing, writing, and developing integration solutions between BearTracks and a broad range of enterprise systems including ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, TraceLink), HRIS platforms, and third-party locker providers. This is a hands-on role for a strategic thinker and doer—someone who can take ownership of end-to-end integrations, from strategy through implementation.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Integration Strategy & Research
• Identify and prioritize enterprise systems we should integrate with in the logistics and internal operations space.
• Research technical specs, data schemas, and integration models (API, file-based, real-time, etc.)
• Integration Design, Development & Ownership
• Act as subject matter expert on integration strategy and implementation.
• Design and develop integration workflows, services, and connectors for ERP, HRIS, and locker systems.
• Build, test, and deploy custom integrations using APIs, middleware, or direct connections.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable code that adheres to security and performance best practices.
• Collaboration & Communication
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, implementation, and customer success teams.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners to coordinate integration efforts.
• Provide technical leadership in customer discussions around integrations.
• Documentation & Support
• Create technical documentation, data mapping templates, and integration playbooks.
• Support customer onboarding with integration expertise and troubleshooting.
• Maintain and iterate on integration frameworks to improve reusability and reliability.

Cultural Expectations

• 5+ years of experience in systems integration, backend development, or technical consulting.
• Proven experience writing and building integrations using APIs (REST, SOAP), webhooks, and file transfers.
• Strong development skills in relevant languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
• Familiarity with common auth protocols (OAuth2, SAML), data formats (JSON, XML), and message queues.
• Ability to work independently, own projects end-to-end, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
