Senior Data Scientist

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with 6–9 years of experience in machine learning, NLP, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Python, experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and NLTK, and solid knowledge of ML algorithms, text analytics, and databases. Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure) and data visualization expertise are a plus.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and apply machine learning models for classification, clustering, and prediction tasks
• Perform text analytics and natural language processing on structured and unstructured data
• Analyze large datasets using Python libraries and SQL queries
• Clean, transform, and visualize data to support business decisions
• Communicate insights and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical teams
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
• Maintain documentation and ensure reproducibility of analysis

Cultural Expectations

• Expertise in ML algorithms like SVM, Naive Bayes, k-NN, Decision Forests, etc.
• Strong Python skills (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, NLTK, etc.)
• Solid SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data tools (Hive/Pig) is a plus
• Strong communication and analytical thinking
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
