Senior Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with 6+ years of expertise in designing and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and ADLS. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in SQL, Python, and Spark, with experience in IoT and high-volume data processing, data governance, and performance optimization on Azure-based data platforms.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop & maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks & ADLS
• Enhance Azure-based data platform for scalability, reliability & security
• Handle high-volume IoT data ingestion and processing
• Implement data governance, quality, and compliance frameworks
• Optimize performance for analytics and reporting use cases
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and architects
• Drive innovation through automation and modern tooling

Cultural Expectations

• 6+ years in data engineering with strong Azure cloud experience
• Hands-on with ADF, Databricks, ADLS, and Power BI
• Skilled in SQL, Python, Spark
• Experience with IoT and real-time data streams
