SRE - Infrastructure Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer – Infrastructure Support with strong Linux administration, networking, and scripting expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting system, storage, and network issues, managing containers and VMs, and working with automation tools to ensure high availability and performance in enterprise infrastructure environments.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Experience with ticket-based case management and escalation processes
• Ability to research and resolve issues while maintaining customer engagement
• Expertise in RAID configuration tools like mdadm, smartctl
• Knowledge of PCI/PCIe troubleshooting with tools like lspci, lshw
• Familiarity with service processors using tools like RKVM, IPMI
• Linux system administration and performance monitoring (top, mem, strace, iostat, vmstat, htop, iotop)
• Network administration knowledge including NFS, LDAP, DNS, networking protocols (STP, LAG, VLAN)
• Managing switches, firewall, NAT, and accessing management interfaces/serial consoles
• Strong shell scripting and Python scripting skills
• Troubleshooting client-side API issues
• Understanding of containers vs VMs

Cultural Expectations

• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management
• Experience with eBPF, Linux perf, and debugging with GDB
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Podman
• Experience with load balancers and VM management (e.g., VMWare)
• Knowledge of Juniper JunOS, VPN setup/troubleshooting
• Strong Python scripting skills
