Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience to drive CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native deployments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/Ansible, and scripting, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security across cloud environments.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with development teams to define and automate deployment strategies.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through effective monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Manage and maintain source control systems (Git), enforce branching strategies and code integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support development/test environments.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps trends, tools, and practices.

Cultural Expectations

• 8+ years of relevant DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and infrastructure best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to serverless architectures.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with CloudFormation or other IaC tools beyond Terraform/Ansible.
• Familiarity with service mesh, API gateways, or GitOps practices.
