ITOM senior technical consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Technical Consultant – ITOM to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of IT Operations Management solutions. The role includes deploying Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB, integrating ITOM with enterprise systems, and driving automation to enhance IT visibility and operational efficiency.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, customization, and integration of ITOM solutions (ServiceNow ITOM preferred).
• Deploy and configure Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, Orchestration, and Cloud Management modules.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure smooth delivery.
• Develop automation workflows for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Perform health checks, upgrades, and performance tuning of ITOM solutions.
• Ensure CMDB accuracy and maintain integration with other ITSM/ITAM tools.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior consultants and clients.
• Create detailed documentation, SOPs, and best practices for ITOM processes.

Cultural Expectations

• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in ITOM implementation.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM Suite (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
• Solid understanding of infrastructure technologies (Windows/Linux servers, networking, cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience in CMDB design, integrations, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, integrations, and orchestration.
• Experience in ITIL processes, Incident/Problem/Change management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
