Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality by designing and executing test plans, developing automation scripts, and collaborating with developers and product teams. You will help build scalable testing processes and deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
• Work closely with developers and product managers to define testing requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing.
• Ensure software quality through end-to-end test coverage.
• Track, document, and manage defects using tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery with quality.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share best practices.

Cultural Expectations

• 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, PyTest).
• Proficiency in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
• Good understanding of SQL/Databases for data validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
