Senior devOps engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will design and manage cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure system scalability, reliability, and security. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline release cycles and mentor junior engineers.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Implement and manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and availability.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline release processes.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and share best practices.

Cultural Expectations

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Hands-on with containers & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, AKS).
• Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell, Go is a plus).
• Exposure to security best practices and DevSecOps principles.

Hiring Process
