Junior devOps Engineer

Job Summary

As a DevOps Engineer, you will support the automation and management of software delivery processes, maintain cloud infrastructure, and ensure application reliability. You’ll collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline deployments and optimize system performance.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to automate deployment and testing processes.
• Assist in maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Ensure basic security, backup, and disaster recovery practices are followed.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide input on release planning.

Cultural Expectations

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Basic understanding of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
• Awareness of security best practices in deployment and operations.

Hiring Process

• Live coding task to evaluate coding proficiency.
• Technical interview with senior member from the technical team.
• Final interview with Tech Lead/CTO.
