LEAD ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are looking for Hands-on Lead engineers for the team who can provide tech leadership for team of 5-6 highly skilled tech team members. Ideal candidate should have good understanding of backend and frontend Technologies, along with system design and architecture.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementation, uphold excellent code quality, and influence architecture decisions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, maintain coding standards, and champion best practices.
• Mentor junior developers, fostering their technical and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to convert requirements into actionable technical tasks.
• Manage and track technical delivery within your team, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges within the team

Cultural Expectations

• 5-8 years of strong software development experience.
• Experience and interest in technical design, system architecture, and building scalable solutions.
• Deep expertise in relevant technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, AWS, databases).
• Proven track record delivering high-quality software products.
• Strong experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
• Ability and enthusiasm for guiding and technically supporting a small team.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Previous experience in a product-centric or SaaS-based company.
• Familiarity with iterative sprint-based development.
• Passionate about writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.
