Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager with a strong full-stack background to lead and grow a team of talented engineers. This role is ideal for someone with 7+ years of experience in modern web development technologies, including .NET (C#), Angular, React.js, Python, and Node.js. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for technical leadership, project execution, and people management across multiple product initiatives.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of full-stack engineers working on web applications and backend services.
  • Drive full-cycle software development: planning, architecture, coding standards, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
  • Set technical direction and ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, security, and performance.
  • Conduct regular code reviews, design discussions, and architecture reviews.
  • Mentor, coach, and support engineers in technical and career development.
  • Define clear goals and KPIs for team members and support performance evaluations.
  • Advocate and implement Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure team delivers projects on time, with high quality and minimal technical debt.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, accountability, and transparency.

Cultural Expectations

  • Lead by example in both technical and leadership capacities.
  • Maintain deep technical understanding of the product and stack: .NET, Angular, React.js, Python, Node.js.
  • Own delivery and quality for one or more engineering teams or product areas.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (PMs, designers, QA, leadership).
  • Encourage a culture of collaboration, feedback, and high performance.
  • Identify skills gaps and help with upskilling or hiring as needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and make data-driven decisions for tech upgrades or process changes.
  • Balance short-term deliverables with long-term scalability and system health.
