AI Engineer – Production AI Systems

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-ready AI systems. The role involves end-to-end development of AI features — from prototyping and prompt engineering to integration, deployment, and monitoring. You’ll work with modern LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, etc.), vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), and frameworks like LangChain and Hugging Face. You’ll also build RAG pipelines, semantic search systems, and scalable AI infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver real business value. Ideal Candidate: An experienced AI/ML engineer with strong Python skills, production-level experience with transformer models, and deep knowledge of vector search and LLM orchestration. Bonus if you have frontend skills (React/Next.js) for prototyping.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and build AI systems using LLMs, embeddings, and vector search.
• Develop modular, maintainable code using Python and AI frameworks.
• Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Integrate and optimize LLMs via APIs or self-hosted deployments.
• Monitor and scale AI systems with proper observability in production.
• Rapidly prototype AI features and connect to frontend interfaces.
• Build backend services (FastAPI, Node.js, Go) to support AI features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-ready AI solutions.

Cultural Expectations

• 3–5 years of experience building production-grade AI/ML systems.
• Strong understanding of transformer models, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Hands-on experience with vector databases like Pinecone, Chroma, or Weaviate.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with frameworks like LangChain or Hugging Face.
• Experience integrating and optimizing LLMs via APIs or self-hosted setups.
• Ability to build scalable backend services (FastAPI, Node.js, or Go).
