Device Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Endpoint Management Specialist to lead the administration and optimization of our SCCM and Microsoft Intune environments. This role is central to ensuring the effective lifecycle management of client devices, from provisioning and patching to compliance and security enforcement. You will manage critical tasks such as software deployment, device monitoring, Autopilot setup, and configuration of compliance policies. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in documenting processes, driving standardization across global operations, and supporting mobile device strategies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Job Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain SCCM for patch management, software deployment, and monitoring.
- Administer Microsoft Intune including Autopilot, compliance policies, and device configurations.
- Oversee device provisioning and imaging using standardized processes.
- Coordinate application rollouts and update cycles for Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Implement and support endpoint security and vulnerability management practices.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting manuals.
- Conduct training sessions for internal users and IT teams on device management tools.
- Collaborate with external partners on mobile device standards (Android/iOS).
- Support global rollout of compliance and security standards across endpoints.
Cultural Expectations
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SCCM and Microsoft Intune.
- Strong understanding of device lifecycle management and modern deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security features such as DLP, AIP, and Compliance Center.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced IT environment.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A team player with a structured and execution-focused mindset.
