Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions on Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF). The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in developing and optimizing ETL pipelines, implementing data models and architectures, and ensuring data quality, accuracy, and availability across the organization. This role involves close collaboration with business, analytics, and product teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and continuously improve data platforms throughout their lifecycle (development and operations). The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, drive data governance and architecture improvements, and contribute to the organization’s data-driven decision-making. Good-to-have skills include knowledge of DevOps practices, metadata management, data lineage, and experience with BI tools to enhance data accessibility and performance.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, Ruby, and Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement clean and efficient user interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, identifying and suggesting improvements for code quality and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring performance and security.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation for web solutions.
• Engage in agile development with version control and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with company's pre-vetted engineering team to deliver high-quality tech solutions efficiently.
• Ensure timely project delivery aligning with company's 48-hour deployment model.
