Customer/Tech Support Engineer (JavaScript)

Job Summary

We’re looking for experienced Customer Support Engineers with strong JavaScript skills to serve as the first line of defense for our customers. You’ll handle Zendesk tickets, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless product support for a JavaScript-first platform. The role demands both technical depth and excellent communication. A flexible 6-day schedule with team overlap ensures continuous 7-day support coverage.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for customer technical issues via Zendesk.
• Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues related to our JavaScript-based products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Provide detailed solutions and documentation for recurring problems.
• Ensure timely follow-ups and maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
• Work a 6-day rotational schedule ensuring full week coverage with team overlap.

Cultural Expectations

• 3–6 years of experience in technical or customer support roles.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with the ability to debug code and identify issues.
• Familiarity with Zendesk or other customer support platforms.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, APIs, browser behavior).
• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle customer issues under pressure.

Hiring Process
