SAP ABAP Consultant

Job Summary

Job Description – SAP ABAP Consultant Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong technical expertise to design, develop, and implement SAP solutions in a highly customized SAP environment. The candidate will work closely with functional teams and global IT stakeholders to deliver high-quality development objects, ensure smooth integration, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP landscape. Roles and Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities Analyze functional/user requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. Prepare detailed technical specifications from functional specifications. Design, develop, and maintain SAP RICEF objects: Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms Classes Develop and support WebDynpro, Workflows, CDS Views, OData Services, and AMDP classes. Perform technical feasibility checks, system dependency analysis, and impact assessments. Deliver high-quality, optimized code and perform self/cross-validation of development objects. Work independently to deliver assigned technical developments following SAP standards. Support and enhance developments within S/4HANA environments. Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and global IT teams for solution integration. Participate in Agile project activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all development processes. Provide support for SAP Fiori/UI5 developments (added advantage). Apply basic SAP Basis knowledge including user authorization and control concepts. Utilize foundational understanding of SAP BTP, CAPM, and RAP frameworks as needed. Contribute to internal SAP technical knowledge-sharing sessions. Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development across RICEF components. Experience working in Agile project environments. Exposure to S/4HANA and highly customized SAP landscapes. Good understanding of business processes across functional domains. Knowledge of Fiori UI, SAP BTP, CAPM, RAP, and Basis concepts is an added advantage..
