Job Summary

Auriga is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and deploy APIs and web applications using Django Rest Framework, powering leading-edge digital products. The role requires creative thinking, architectural problem-solving, and strong technical expertise in Python, web application development, and foundational frontend technologies. Candidates should be proficient in designing, implementing, and testing high-quality backend code.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze functional requirements with business stakeholders
• Convert complex problems into efficient end-to-end technical solutions
• Collaborate with client architects/senior developers for high-level and low-level design
• Develop high-quality, test-driven backend code using Django/DRF
• Perform Unit Testing and Integration Testing
• Manage code configuration and release processes
• Create and maintain technical documentation and follow best development practices
• Ensure timely delivery through effective collaboration with team members
• Stay updated with current technologies and continuously improve technical skills
• Minimum 3+ years experience in Python-based Web Application & API development
• Hands-on experience with Django DRF, Flask, MVC frameworks, and RDBMS
• Strong understanding of multithreading, collections, and concurrent APIs
• Experience working with REST/SOAP web services
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases & messaging technologies
• Excellent knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms
• Frontend basics: JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS
• Ability to build API services from scratch (project structure, reusable components, etc.)
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
• Knowledge of Git and API testing tools like Postman
