Job Summary

VoiceOwl is seeking a Backend Engineer with 1-5 years of experience to build and maintain backend services for their AI-powered voice agent platform. The role focuses on Node.js/TypeScript development, MongoDB data modeling, and building reliable APIs and microservices. The ideal candidate will contribute to scalable, event-driven architectures and collaborate across product, frontend, and AI teams in a fast-moving startup environment.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement backend services using TypeScript and Node.js
• Build REST/GraphQL APIs and integrate with internal microservices
• Work with MongoDB for data modeling, query optimization, and performance
• 1–5 years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of backend fundamentals: APIs, async patterns, error handling
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB
