Backend Developer - Net Core

Job Summary

We are looking for a .Net Core Developer with 6+ years of experience in developing secure, scalable web applications and APIs. The role requires strong expertise in C#, ASP.Net Core, RESTful API design, Azure cloud services, SQL, and frontend technologies, with a strong understanding of design patterns and application security in the banking/financial domain.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable RESTful APIs using .NET Core.
• Design and build web applications using ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and related technologies.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, SQL Databases, and API Management for cloud-based solutions.
• Work with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.
• Apply OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices for software architecture and security.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through profiling and optimization.
• Contribute to Agile teams by participating in planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot complex issues across the application stack.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to compliance and secure coding standards, including use of tools like Veracode.

Cultural Expectations

• Minimum 6 years of experience in .NET development with a strong focus on .NET Core and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including app hosting and database services.
• Strong working knowledge of front-end and back-end development technologies.
• Solid understanding of software design principles, multi-threading, performance optimization, and application security.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to independently handle modules or entire solutions within a project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Microsoft certification and experience with application security tools like Veracode are desirable.
