QA Lead

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Lead with 8+ years of experience in test automation and quality leadership. The role requires expertise in Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, CI/CD, and Playwright for web automation, along with proficiency in Java/Python/JavaScript. The ideal candidate should have strong SDLC knowledge, experience in designing test strategies, and the ability to lead automation teams effectively.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent tools.
• Design and implement comprehensive automation testing strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and automation scope.
• Track and manage bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
• Review and enhance automation code; provide code reviews and mentorship to peers.
• Maintain and evolve the test automation framework to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure complete test coverage.
• Analyze test execution reports and provide actionable insights into software quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation.

Cultural Expectations

• 8+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on web application testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Selenium.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript for scripting automation tests.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, testing life cycle, and QA best practices.
• Experience working with Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
