.NET Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our Mumbai-based engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced developer passionate about designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using the Microsoft .NET stack. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years of deep, hands-on expertise with ASP.NET, C#, and cloud technologies. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing our SaaS platform and driving innovation across the stack.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of major features and services.
• Work collaboratively with product managers, QA engineers, frontend developers, and DevOps.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and enforce automated testing practices.
• Participate in architectural planning, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.
• Integrate with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) for deployment, hosting, and services.
• Optimize database performance using SQL Server, and design scalable data models.
• Ensure secure development aligned with industry security and compliance standards.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in .NET development, cloud computing, and modern software practices.

Cultural Expectations

• Experience: 5+ years in software development, 3+ years in ASP.NET/C#.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Strong command of .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Proficient in SQL Server, RESTful APIs, and authentication/authorization protocols.
• Familiarity with Azure and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git).
• Development Tools: Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Architecture & Design: Deep understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and scalable architectures.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Location: This is an on-site role in Mumbai—candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
